Ways to give without giving money...
16th February 2012Everyone’s finances are under pressure at the moment so we have come up with a number of ways that you can help, without having to find more money (although that is always welcome, of course!).
Jewellery recycling is a good way to get rid of unwanted jewellery and donate to DSWF. We're teaming up with Jewellery Recycling.org who supply envelopes into which you can put all your old jewellery that they will recycle for us for free. DSWF receives 75% of all funds generated. A great way to get rid of those broken watches, single cufflinks and out of date brooches. Go online today or look out for the Freepost envelope that will accompany your spring edition of Wildlife Matters.
Give while you shop with Easyfrundraising.org .uk Shop online at all your favourite retailers via the Easyfundraising site and we receive a percentage of the value of the sale. They also keep you updated with great offers from top retailers!
Make every click count! If you are a regular internet user you can raise money for DSWF through everyclick.com . Simply sign-up and choose DSWF and every time you search the internet money will be donated to us! So easy! Make everyclick your home page and start donating today!
Got a car to scrap
but don’t want to pay someone to take it away? Then visit GiveaCar
at www.giveacar.co.uk
,
let them know that you want to donate your car; choose DSWF
as your charity of choice and they will send a tow truck round to collect your car free-of-charge – and dispose of the car in an environmentally friendly way. The proceeds (after VAT and admin) are then donated to us.
There are many other ways you can help and we are in the process of collating ideas to add to our website as they come in. In the meantime, if you have any good suggestions, please do let us know. Send an email here
Thank you!
